About Us
All Cooperative Farmers Association,
Edo State (ACFA)
After a careful
study of the various organizations that claimed to represent farmers in the
state, only to observe that their acts towards the hardworking and dedicated
farmers are negative, prompt for the formation of a group which will really and
sanguinely take the farmers from grass to grace. This Association was set up
for the purpose of organizing, supporting, representing and helping the farmers
to access productive techniques of farming and also to help them purchase and
market all their farm produce.
It was
not actually very easy in the early period of formation, but the man that has
experienced every steps taken by the so many groups that has pretended to come
and represent the farmers in the state aforetime, Mr. Agbonlahor .O. Osamuyi,
Volunteered himself as a frontal pioneer for this productive but tedious trip.
Although
the Association is very young, as it was started in January, 2013, with only few more groups appreciating this move, ACFA
continues to serve its membership by projecting the interest of the members to
the various government ministry for recognition, and also putting before them
areas the Association will want the ministries to partner with them in their submission
to help their farmers understand the basics of co-operative society, develop
their cultivation pattern and to find success in the global marketplace. Above
all, ACFA prides itself on retaining the close-knit working environment and
personalized members/customer service relationship which has help all these
while for it to keep on board.
Base on ACFA’s focused
almost exclusively on the grain and feed cultivation, processing, packaging and
marketing of all its members, and their ability to give a wise counsel to its
members when membership decided to take
an unprecedented move, gives the Association proximity and the confidence it
has enjoyed from its members.
One word you will always hear the
frontal pioneer say is TO MAKE IT WORK! THERE IS NEED TO MAKE IT REAL
….. Therefore to sustain ACFA, HONESTY AND TRUST is what all its managers
should put in mind
He always
teach them never to loose focus or care
about the negative views some persons may have because many who came before
have already betrayed the farmers.
The next place of transit is
in the Co-operative Farm Community where all farmers will have a place to
actualize their dreams and to collectively materialize their wane dreams of
becoming great persons, and fitting in their place in the social order.
